Influencer Q&A: Abbey Bruggeworth

Get to know this sweet and down-to-earth lifestyle, fashion and fitness influencer based in Atlanta, GA.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.

A: I am a 24-year-old fitness and lifestyle blogger based in Atlanta. I have been married to my amazing husband Ben for two-and-a-half years and we have one child together—a Frenchie named Tank!

When I first began blogging and creating content, I had zero idea about what I was doing. Two years ago, I forced a lot of what I wrote. I thought that I had to wedge myself into a particular bubble vs. naturally finding my niche audience.

My branding now is whatever flows naturally with what I enjoy and do on a daily basis. I love sharing what I’m doing, what workouts I’m trying out, and my fashion finds—something that happens all too often because I’m addicted to shopping. I thrive on networking and meeting new people, and I cannot wait to see my brand and relationships grow in the next few years.

Q: What does a typical day (pre-coronavirus) look like for you?

Rise + Grind

I typically wake up around 5am and work out at Stat Wellness (I do my current workouts on YouTube at home).

Head to Work

I currently work full-time as a marketing coordinator at the Atlanta Institute for Facial Aesthetic Surgery.

Relax + Unwind

Typically after work, I’m cooking dinner at home with my husband and going on a long walk after binge-watching our show of the month. This is often followed by drinking a bottle (or two) of our favorite Meiomi wine.

Weekend Hustle

On the weekends, you can find me creating content for personal projects or brands, doing photo shoots with local photographers and boutiques, spending quality time with friends, going to see ATL UTD or the Braves play and getting active as much as I can. Currently, however, my weekends are spent getting all of our house projects done.

Q: Tell us three fun facts about yourself.

  1. My husband and I met on the swim team when we were 5 and 6 years old.

  2. I spend every Sunday morning making pancakes and listening to Kenny G.

  3. I make an hourly itinerary for every trip or vacation I go on.

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

A: My mom is my biggest inspiration. She has owned her own business flipping houses for years and puts her heart and soul into it. She will work 14 hour days without batting an eye. Her hard work and determination makes me want to be the best I can be.

Q: Where can we follow along and keep up with your life?

A: Engage with me on social! I love chatting with people and meeting people that follow me and enjoy my content. All of my links are in my bio on Instagram. You can shop my outfits, see my latest posts, and more. Subscribe to my blog to be the first to know about new content and upcoming events!

Visit Abbey’s website here and keep up with her on Instagram.

Q: What local businesses are you loving?

A: Closetier @shopclosetier, TOLA @tola.atl, Blanc Studio West @blancstudiowest, Sugarcoat @sugarcoatlashbar, Rachael Colvin Salon @hairbyrachaelcolvinImperia, and Supply @imperiasupply.

Q: What local creators are you digging?

A: Megan Crean @megancrean, Kellie Bernardi @healthandkellness, Erin Darity @evolvingwitherin, Carly Durst @carlyannrd, and Madi Bernard @madibernard.

Q: What’s next?

Next for me are some amazing local partnerships, building my brand even more and potentially expanding to new social platforms over the summer (hi YouTube!).
