Brand Q&A: It’s Especially Lucky
Meet Yasmin, founder & designer behind the trendsetting jewelry line.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: I have always had a love for design, so naturally designing and making jewelry is a perfect fit for me. I needed a creative outlet my senior year at UGA and that’s how It’s Especially Lucky came to be!
Q: What are three fun facts about you?
A: I have moved nine times and have lived in four different states. I have a non-profit called Couture for Charity. I interned at the Saks corporate headquarters in the jewelry planning department in NYC!
Q: What or who inspires you?
A: I vividly remember watching the Lifetime documentary on Coco Chanel and thinking, “I’m going to be her one day.” I aspire to one day have a timeless fashion company that women from all walks of life want to shop from.

Q: Who are some of the local businesses and/or creators like yourself that you are loving right now?
A: I absolutely love Char.Cute.rie which is a cheese board business run by one of my best friends!
Q: What have been some of the most inspiring collaborations you have done?
A: I absolutely love being part of the ATL Girl Gang and their events! Whether it be in person or virtual it’s always fun. I was also a part of the Her Market last summer and it was a great way to meet other female entrepreneurs.
Q: If you could partner with anyone in Atlanta on a creative collaboration, who would it be?
A: I would love to work a cool store front in Atlanta to have a seasonal popup!
I have a total girl crush on Ashley Sims of Humans before Handles—she’s so incredibly talented and down to earth!
Q: How can the community support you?
A: Honestly, every like, comment, and share is always so appreciated!
